Daniel Boone Blazer Wrestling will be holding Strength and Conditioning Workouts for ALL Daniel Boone school district wrestlers on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11:00 am
to 1:00 pm in the High School weight room and ALL Daniel
Boone wrestlers from 6th through 12th grade are welcome.
Good Luck Sam & Colin as you compete for the Keystone Brawlers this weekend. Also Good Luck to Michael Beard who is competing with Steel in the Elementary Division.

to 6:30 pm and Tuesday's from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Open Gym will take place in the High School wrestling room and ALL Daniel
Boone wrestlers from 1st through 12th grade are welcome. Sessions will continue after school lets out based on demand.

This week the era of a Matt Palmer lead team ended. Coach Palmer submitted his resignation for personal and professional reasons. We thank Coach Palmer for his time, effort, and caring for our young wrestlers. We wish him the best in the future and hope he does not stray far from the Blazer wrestling program in the future.

2009-2010 Preview: The Blazers return 3 letterwinners in the class of 2010, along with 7 letterwinners from the class of 2011 and 1 letterwinner from the class of 2012. Among these wrestlers were Colin Martucci (2011) 32-7, Eddie Lockowitz (2010) 24-15, Liam Gibbons (2011) 21-12, Zach Mitchell (2011) 19-15, Nick McGlauflin (2010) 19-12, and Ken Bock (2011) 17-16.
This wealth of returning talent has excited the fans and energized the team to step up their goals and competition for the coming seasons. Look for the Blazers totake back Division II, and to challenge for Berks County supremacy!

For those who will not be going out to ST Louis to watch the NCAA
tournament this year - it looks like ESPN will do addtional LIVE
coverage The 2009 NCAA Wrestling Championships will take place on
Thursday through Saturday, March 19-21, at the Scottrade Center in St.
Louis, Mo. Action begins on Thursday with sessions at (ALL TIMES ARE
CENTRAL) 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Friday begins with a 10 a.m. session and
ends with a 6 p.m. session. Saturday, the final day of the tournament,
begins at 9:30 a.m. and concludes with the Finals at 5:30 p.m. The
ESPN family of networks, vastly increasing its live coverage of the
event last year, has upped its commitment to the tournament even more
for 2009. For the first time, the event will presented in high
definition and the semifinals will be simulcast on both ESPN2 HD and
ESNU HD. In all, 11 hours of live coverage will be presented on ESPNU,
ESPN and ESPN2 (in addition to each channel's HD counterpart) on Friday
and Saturday. All of Thursday's action will be carried live on

2008-09: The team finished second to Conrad Weiser in the Berks Div II standings. They also qualified for the Country team championships where they dropped a 52-10 decision to Wilson in the quarter finals.
The team leaders to this point are: Colin Martucci 29-4, Austin Bridegam 22-12, Eddie Lockowitz 23-13, Liam Gibbons 20-13, Zach Mitchell 18-13, Nick McGlauflin 19-12, Timothy Evans 19-13, Kenny Bock 15-14.
